Film submissions have been great for the 2008 season. Some films feature wonderful new talent in the cast, others are using known celebrities. Compelling stories are being presented through fact and fiction. Our film reviewers are excited about the filmmakers participating this year.
We are reviewing submissions and filmmaker information with an eye to helping selected filmmakers, domestic and international, attend the festival this October. Spunk, passion, skill and well crafted films have placed some terrific filmmakers on the short list. It is expected that a number of filmmakers will be selected.
Official Selections for 2008 will be posted on or before July 20, 2008. Watch of updates on workshops and attending filmmakers.
The Eugene International Film Festival is at the center of all that is good about Oregon. The EIFF is one of the best destination film festivals in America.
