This reenactment was filmed in Eugene, OR in super-16. It features the case of Carl Djusberg who committed crimes in Eugene. The reenactment includes depictions of his crimes in other states, all filmed in Eugene and surrounding areas.
Locations used in this segment of the popular television series will be familiar to local residents - the Bijou Theater, Allann Bros. Bakery and Coffee House, Unity Covered Bridge (Lowell, OR), the Buckhorn Tavern (Dexter, OR), Northern Lights Tree Farm (Pleasant Hill, OR) and residential locations in Eugene. Many local filmmakers were used in producing this segment.
Djusberg was watching "America's Most Wanted" with his then girlfriend the night the program aired. She knew nothing of his background. He was captured shortly afterward.
