About a veteran of the Iraq war who has lost his leg in combat, this film puts a face on the policy of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and stands for the proposition that courage doesn’t ask, nor require, that that soldiers be straight or gay. It only requires they do their duty. In battle, some men live, some die,and some distinguish themselves with valor. If you think gays cannot or should not serve, you haven’t met our veterans.
