Wigwam burners were built to burn scrap wood at lumber mills in a bygone era. Their soot soiled freshly cleaned laundry hung out to dry. Embers shot from their pointed tops to sparkle against the night sky like fireworks. Outlawed in the 1970’s because of their pollution, only an unused few remain.
