A sensitive young man is in love with a Chicago theater actress named Kate and he’s been following her for some time, looking for a sign. One night the young man discovers someone else also following Kate, but this guy looks like a real predator. He decides that ensuring Kate’s safety is more important than being with her and take it upon himself to warn her. When things don’t go according to plan, the young man tries to fix it, but everything goes horribly wrong.
