A student, Karla, longs for her boyfriend who is abroad. The relationship gets as pale as the sweet comforting lies he whispers from the other side of the world, but Karla isn’t ready to give up yet. When her boyfriend doesn’t come home as he promised, she decides to visit him instead. She needs money and starts to work in a shabby bar where she meets Sugar, who just got kicked out of her apartment. Karla offers Sugar a place to stay, but Sugar doesn’t come alone.
