A grass-roots Native American reconciliation group in Twisp, a small town in North Central Washington State began, virtually by accident, in the home of a couple living there. As it grew, it began drawing Natives and sympathetic non-natives from across the state. As our ugly past, and the anger and hurt felt by the natives today is explored, relationships begin to change. By the end of the film, the whole community has become involved, and sponsors a “Reconciliation Powwow.”
